Castaño garlic is a very exclusive type of garlic. The colour of the garlic bulb is purple. The cloves are very characteristic and have a pointed shape and are chestnut brown in colour. This is what gave it its name. Castaño has a pungent, somewhat spicy flavour with an intense aroma. The perfect garlic variety for fine cuisine.
